This movie is intelligent and well done. Catches your interest from the start and doesn't let go. No Disney happy ever after ending here. Like 28 Days Later, this movie takes a hard look at what ordinary people would do in extrodinary situations. You're dealing with a new set of characters, but the plot continues with the original theme. It isn't necessary to see the first movie to understand what's taking place in this one. There is some graphic gore and voilence, but the true horror lies in what people will do to each other and the feeling the viewer gets of "OH MY GOD, that's what would really happen..."
