Want to be shocked, inspired, surprised and wowed?
Fox Network's "24" will do all this and more.  Keifer Sutherland and Company will have you gripping your arm-rests in no time.  (I'd advise enjoying a cocktail before watching this thriller!)

Unparalleled drama, in real-world situations
Fox takes some risks with their highly dramatic and oh-so-shocking Monday night program.  The plots revolve around real-world situations and ethical dilemmas, including nuclear warheads, executive branch decisions, the war on terror, hostage negotiations, foreign relations, drug cartels, traitors, and more.   Talk about "water cooler" subject matter!  Each episode just keeps the surprises coming, and the ethical dilemmas thrown at each character really make us, as an audience, stop to think, "what would I do?"   Kudos to the writers; I fantasize about attending a closed brain-storming session.

Great Fun but also great Brain Food
While any drama/action fan is going to have a great time watching "24", brainiacs are going to thrill to the many issues the show brings up.  There's a lot to keep track of, both character-wise, and plot-wise, and it is fun and exciting to do so.  I can't WAIT for Monday night to roll around again, and when this show isn't taping, I REALLY miss it.

Not Just for Guys!
LADIES, this show is also for you!  I promise you will be just as entertained and thrilled as any fella, and 24 is a great show to "share" with someone special!  My husband and I really look forward to the time we set aside to visit L.A.'s CTU offices (Counter-Terrorism Unit) where most of the show is based.

Important Notes about the show's format
Each one-hour episode of 24 occurs in "real time," detailing the spine-tingling events of one hour within a 24-hour sequence, after replaying key scenes from last week's episode.   While it's not necessary to watch from the beginning of the first season to follow the action, it IS adviseable to start from the first hour of any given season's series of shows, in order to fully appreciate and enjoy each episode.   DVDs to the rescue!

Each season's episodes are widely available on DVD, so you actually have the opportunity to start with Season One (which I'd highly recommend) and progress through to now.  By the time you get caught up, the current season will be finished, and we can all move forward together in Jan 2008.

Don't be an accidental spoiler
Don't bum out your friends by blurting out what happens on 24 until you're SURE they've watched the latest episode.   TiVO and DVRs make delayed gratification a reality, and you don't want to ruin someone's fun by accident!

Congratulations, Keifer
You've had a long career and you've worked hard.  You deserve all your success, and each interview I've read tells me you're a regular guy, but with a lot of passions.  Let me know when you ready to do an interview with a fan who's never missed one minute of your show.  (Or just call me, so I can hear you say "Previously....on 24."

Note to "Chloe"
My husband believes there should be a Chloe action figure AND a Chloe calendar, with all the hilarious expressions that this smart character uses in exasperation.

If You Only Watch ONE TV Show.............make it 24 !!!
Seriously!

The Bottom Line:  Libby Loves It!
