2005 Ford Escape Review Summary

The 2005 Ford Escape is a mini SUV that owners say they would buy all over again! The Ford Escape gets decent fuel mileage for an SUV and is also fun to drive. The ’07 Ford Escape offers a good value for the money with lots of options available. Reviewers were a little unhappy that the gasoline mileage wasn’t quite as good as stated on the price list, but still say it is a good ratio for an SUV. I just this SUV 2 months ago, and I am in love with it!

This 2005 Ford Escape is the best vehicle out there for people who want an SUV but still want to save on gas. I am only using about 6 more gallons a month that I was with my 1999 Ford Escort sedan. The fuel cost is not nearly as high as I was expecting.

This SUV has all the extras I could want. Leather seats are more comfortable that I was expecting, and the stereo is great.

I'm not sure if the tires are factory originals, but they are outstanding. I had to make a sudden stop in the rain, and I was afraid of sliding. But the tires-and my braking...

I love my escape. It is very comfortable and the price was great. I commute 60 miles dailt to work, five days a week. I have three kids who are always on the go.The storage area is awesome.I have already put two bikes in the back to transport. We traveled to the beach this past summer and we got everything packed. I live on the east coast, central pa where winters can be bad.I need a dependable vehicle for work.I had my escape last winter and even though we had bad roads on days, greater than 6-8 inches of snow,my four-wheel drive never kicked in.It is a tad bit noisy but my husband states that is because...

I have had several vehicles over the years, but this Escape will be the next car I buy I again.  I am totally happy with my purchase and continue to be excited about driving it even 3 years later.  There are times when I look out the window and just want to jump in and take off.  I have never had any trouble with my car and I offer to drive everyone around.

The only "negative" thing I could say about the Escape is that my gas mileage isn't the best around.  However, I owned a mustang before and there isn't much difference in gas mileage and I have 3x more room.

I love it!

I drive my Escape 30 minutes round trip everyday! I have two children in carseats and my Escape is perfect for my life! We take it on trips and love it. It has the look and feel of an SUV while not being too bad at the pump. I love sitting up higher - it is easier on my back putting the kids in their carseats. It has a sunroof and a luggage rack. I also love the back hatch where you have the option of opening the whole door or just the glass part! I can easily put loads of stuff in the back wether it's groceries, luggage or kid toys!

I love my Escape.  First of all, it is a FORD.  Ford has always been good to us.  From the dealership, to the finance company, to the vehicles themselves.  But my Escape has room for my two teenage boys and all the stuff I cart around.  It is so much fun to drive I feel like a teenager again.  It gets 23 miles/gallon.  That's about half city and half highway driving.  Wonderful buy.

The ford escape is the greatest! We are a typical one income family, striving to make ends meet, and we LOVE our Escape! It gets GREAT gas mileage, repairs are covered by warranty, and payments are average to low.......THANKS, FORD, for thinking of the middle class!!!!!!!!!
