2001 Chevrolet S-10 Review

This is my 3rd S-10 bought used with 73,000 miles. The others were: 1992 123K used,
and a 1997 purchased new. All were 4 cyclinder, 5 speed manual transmissions.
The last two have the extended cab, and the 2001 has the 3dr door. Even though I live in upstate NY; I opt for 2WD because we have an AWD SUV. Gas mileage and
comfort are good for my commute to work. As long as you maintain these trucks they will be dependable. There are three other S-10s from the early 90's on my street; so this says a lot about their reliability.
The 2001 shows no signs of rust, runs like a new truck. The 3rd door makes it easy to pack in the groceries or whatever.
This is not intended to be a work truck, but it's perfect for hauling typical home-owner cargo.
