My family has been driving Nissans since the 1960's when they were still Datsuns. My 1997 Nissan Sentra has proven to be as reliable as all the others we have owned. It gets good mileage both in town and driving cross country. I recently checked new Nissan's and my older model gets as good mileage as the newer ones say they do. . The Nissans and Datsuns we have oned previously have given good service for 12 to 15 years. Two would have lasted longer but were totaled when rear ended by other drivers, not because of any fault with the vehicle. I will definitely buy another Nissan when this one need replacing.
