110 East End Avenue, nyc - New York, NY Review

This apartment building(studios - 3 bedrooms)  is part of the Weinreb Inc. here in New York City.  This currently is the only building Weinreb (a lawyer) owns on the Upper East Side.  . 

The 14 story building was built in the 50's.  It has always been a rental building. Overall the building is in good condition.  There is a garage located under the building.  With the addition of a new live-in Super, the building's condition is improving.  The rooms are larger than many apartments in the city and have been going thru renovations as they become available. The kitchens have newer cabinets with microwaves.  The bathroom are subway tiled.  The floors (which could use some help) are wood throughout.  Many of the apartments have balconies and the penthouses have terraces.

The staff here are not as attentive as I have seen in other buildings.  But they are courteous & friendly and general try to be helpful. --Great mailman.

This neighborhood is quiet without the normal traffic and sirens heard throughout the city.  This is because the building faces the East River and East End Ave. is the last Avenue on the East Side.

Prices for the apartments are a little above average for the area, but still a good value.
