1-800-Flowers.com Review

 I am a last minute shopper!!  Even so I shop for quality, value and friendly service.  I used 1-800-Flowers.com to send my mom flowers for Mother's Day.  I waited until Saturday to start shopping.  Since my mom lives out-of-state, I knew the only way to guarantee next day delivery was through the Internet.  Since I am a MyPoints user, I tried 1-800-Flowers.com on MyPoints' reference.  Also I get to shop while earning points; for more shopping!!  On the 1-800-Flowers Website I was able to purchase flowers and candy for my mom for less than $100.00.  1-800- Flowers delivered my gift on Sunday after 12:00p.m. [they do post a warning that last minute orders may or may not be delivery the next day and to guarantee on time delivery to order at least two or three days in advance (a warning us last minute shoppers completely ignore :-)].   I didn't mind the tardy delivery time; it just adds to the suspense :-)   My mom telephoned to say the flowers were pretty and the gourmet chocolate was fattening.  What else would you expect from a mom :-)

My experience with the 1-800-Flowers Website was positive and I would use them again.  Next time, I would try not to be in such a rush (yeah right) and would order a more quality arrangement.  They also have vases which can be reused for potpourri, candy, or storage containers adding to the value.  They also have balloons and stuffed animals!!  The only negative were their lack of a gift card/holiday card.  Although they do let you write your own message to send along with the arrangement.  It would have been a lot nicer to have a gift/holiday card with a personal message printed on it.  Oh well; us last minute shoppers can't have everything, although we try :-)   I like 1-800-Flowers would use them again and would recommend them to friends even without the points!! :-)
