Last year I ordered flowers for my mother while she was in the hospital recovering from surgery through a competitor of 1-800-Flowers. It was a terrible experience! They accidentally put the wrong delivery date and she never received her flowers. I had to spend about 3 hours on the phone before I could get a refund. This time I decided to try 1-800-Flowers because I remembered a friend having a good experience with them. It was a very smart decision. My mom LOVED the flowers and they delivered them exactly on time. The only nagative thing I could say is that my mom commented that when the delivery man handed over the clip board to sign for the flowers, he had dollar bills attached to it, as if to hint to my mom that he accepts tips. I thought that was very tacky. But otherwise, we are happy with the purchase!
