While it seems to be convenient with a few clicks of the mouse, I will next time get in my car and go to a store and buy an armful of flowers for the same amount as 1800flowers. The birthday arrangement I chose in the large size was 49.99 plus 13.99 for shipping. I chose this arrangement because it was colorful and pretty. What my Mom in Law received was on the small side, dark colors, and looked like it was for maybe a funeral. I was very disappointed. While I do not ever order flowers because I know I could go to the store and buy them myself and make a much nicer arrangement, my Mom in Law LOVES to get flowers delivered.
When I called to complain, they could care less. The customer service rep, while was nice about it, didn't offer anything to make up for this disappointing flower arrangement. Her explanation was they commission out the order to a nearby florist and that florist interprets that particular order by designing it with the flowers that they have on time at that moment. What I ordered was a pink and yellow birthday bouquet. What was sent was dark reds, maroons and 1 dark pink Gerber daisy. It was depressing. I could have gone into my garden and picked prettier flowers. Never again 1800flowers and I will continue to pass this on. I already reviewed this at yelp.com
